Competition Day 2022 - Gower Fresh
BCTGA Competition Day 2022
We are delighted to announce that this year’s Competition Day will be held in October at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees. With huge thanks to Rob Morgan and his team for hosting the event.
This will be a great opportunity for members to get together again and will make a fantastic start to the marketing campaign for the 2022 selling season. We hope you will join us.
Venue - Gower Fresh Christmas Trees, Poundffald Farm, Three Crosses, Swansea, SA4 3PB.
Wednesday 5th October
Competition entry drop off from 11am – 5pm.
We are pleased to confirm Rob will also be running a tour of one of his other tree plantations a short drive away. Entry onto this additional tour is optional and included as part of your day ticket. Simply drop your competition entries off and meet in the main car park at 3pm to join this tour.
We have reserved some space at La Braseria for an evening meal on Wednesday 5th October. You will need to pre book a space for dinner but do not need to pre select your menu choice or pay in advanced. If you would like to join for the dinner, please indicate this when you purchase your day ticket to attend the Competition Day (you will be prompted to fill in yes or no at ticket checkout).
Thursday 6th October
Competition entry drop off 8am – 9am
Competition Day 9am – 4pm
There is a full and informative agenda for the day planned, including:
- Tree and wreath entry viewing and judging
- Visit trade stands and speak with suppliers
- Farm Tour including information on pot grown trees, resident reindeer herd, PYO Pumpkins and lavender fields. Running a successful Christmas Grotto including ticketing system and promotion
